Try a different keyboard. If you're currently using a ps/2 keyboard, then for sure get a usb keyboard.

My 1987 Ford Bronco II won't start

First you always test things & never replace anything

When you understand how things work & how to test
them, then they have to fail a test in order to need replacing

I would think Fuel Pump--if it quite while driving
Put a gauge on the motor if you have a shrader
valve to do so

Seldom do you need to replace a dist
The parts inside can be diagnosed & replaced
if you can source them

Things like plugs, wires & such you leave until you
know if you have fuel pressure, spark & so on.

Once a vehicle gets to 20 years of age you start
checking for wire corrosion such as around fusible links

Never forget the battery & it's cables & the internal
corrosion possible there

Worn ignition switch a possible

You say won't start,so I assume the engine
does turn over?

I have a 1989 LeSharo & the fuel filter on it is mounted on the frame under the driver's seat, just back of the left front wheel. Hope this helps. I am in need of advise on why mine won't start. Has always started/ No problems til now. Have new battery, fuel filer & plugs.Tries to start, but won't. Cleaned the distributer cap, new gas, even "tune up in a bottle". No progress. Help appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Hp laptop keyboard won't type "b n 1"or ''tab esc'' other keys ok..

Either your keyboard cable needs to be reseated or your keyboard is going bad and needs to be replaced. The keyboard cable is under the keyboard and it attaches to a slot on the motherboard. You'll have to partially disassemble the laptop to get to it. Hopefully you're not having this problem because you spilled a liquid on the keyboard.

Here's a fail safe alternative. Bring up google's website www.google.com and in the search box type "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes) and click the link to go to their site. When the site comes up look immediately to the left and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type in "free virtual keyboard" (without the quotes) and click the mirror to search. It will bring back a page and the Free Virtual Keyboard is listed first. Look to the right of it and click the Download Now button. Download and install it. Once it is install you can look in Start/Programs and right click on it and select Pin to Start Menu then right click again and select Desktop (Create Shortcut). It's a neat keyboard to have just in case your real keyboard goes bonkers. You simply click on the letter with your mouse pointer that you want. It has all the functionality of a physical keyboard. You can open a web page, place your mouse in the address line then bring up the virtual keyboard by clicking on it from your desktop or start menu and it will sit on top of whatever you were trying to do. You can move it to see the typing area as you click on a letter. It works the same way if you opened a word document. In your case anytime you need the space bar, just click on it.

Cannot change the function on my keyboard back to a question mark

If you're on Windows then try pressing CTRL+SHIFT keys together (sometimes ALT+SHIFT, see which combination works for you) until your keyboard layout indicator in your system's notification area (bottom right part of your screen, just left of system clock) shows the keyboard layout code that you're used to, in your case "EN". You can cycle through all the installed keyboard layouts using this same key combination.

My logitech keyboard won't work.the mouse is ok

If your keyboard led is not lighting up when you start the computer, there might be a problem with your conection between your keyboard and the port at the back of the computer.

98 chevy cavalier turns over but won't start

i know industry jargon can be confusing, but lets try this. if it turns over but won't start, it could be your ''ignition module'' that sits on top of the vave cover on the motor or it might be the fuel pump or filter. make sure when you crank the engine that the key is all the way turned or it may not always make a proper contact to activate the ignition module. iv'e seen this before & had to change the ignition switch & all worked ok after that. i would need to know engine lt size to give you more details on the matter. please get back to me.

Need a keybored

If you have a desktop computer system you can find keyboards at nearly every retail store. Any keyboard will work on any computer. (Well, this may not be 100% true. If your computer only has USB ports and no PS/2 style connectors - true for a few systems - you'll need a USB keyboard. Otherwise you can plug in anything.) There's no need to stay with the exact same keyboard that was supplied with your system, unless it had special-function keys like volume control or Web access. Even then you can buy keyboards with special keys, and they will come with the software you'll need to make them work.

With laptops it's a little more difficult since the keyboard needs to be an exact replacement, otherwise it won't fit the case and the connection to the motherboard won't be right. But there are many sources now, and for popular brands a lot of low-cost generic replacements are available. You don't always need to buy the original keyboard from the manufacturer. I find eBay to be a good place to look for keyboards (and other laptop components as well). I've found my last few keyboards, batteries and some display hinges from eBay sellers at good prices.

You haven't said what make and model computer you have so I can't be any more detailed. I hope you find this general information useful and that you get a new keyboard quickly. Thanks for using FIxya!
