Disconnect the printer when the un installation is done.. If this wont solve then try to RESTORE the PC to an earlier date. If not there are files missing or the OS corrupt which might need re-installation.
Assumption that installation is completed without any errors.
You are getting error because the printer spooler is stopped so follow the instruction to solve the problem:
Click on the start menu in that click Control Panel. Now look for Administrative Tools and open it. Double-click on Services. Now go through the list and check for "Print Spooler". It should say "started" under STATUS, and "automatic" under STARTUP TYPE. If it isn't started, the computer doesn't know what to do when it's trying to send a doc to the printer. So, right click on the print spooler and select PROPERTIES. In the drop down box for startup type, select "Automatic" and click apply. This should work. If you still face the problem do reinstall, make sure you uninstall the software using the "uninstall" option, either in the control panel, or on the installation CD that came with the printer; don't just delete folders. Then reinstall the software.
Sometimes a file just gets corrupted, for some reason, and this will fix that.
Check what the error message is? Normally this problem comes if the printer is installed and either has not been calibrated or has one or more driver files corrupted.Try to tighten all the wires again. Than uninstall and reinstall. And try to use any disk cleanup utility before reinstalling because some times it can have previous corrupted files in the disk. you can use windows disk cleanup utility.
