Can you not use bluetooth to send pictures from phone to computer. Search on your mobile phones menu to see if there is bluetooth and enable it. If your mobile is not bluetooth enabled, you may still be able to send pictures from phone to pc if there is a USB cable slot in the phone. To send to the pc via bluetooth, either your pc has been set up with bluetooth, or, if not, you have
to install bluetooth using a bluetooth dongle which comes with CDrom, and may be purchased from computer stores like Currys or online for £10-15. Let me know if you have bluetooth, and I'll help you more. Once there is Blue tooth it needs to be turned on, and discovery mode has to be enabled, (not disabled) in order to communicate with other nearby bluetooth enabled devices. Get back to me tell me what you found out, Good luck papertigers

How do i tranfer music on the phone via blue toothe ?

Hamilton,
It will take you ages to download music via BT. It is very slow. You can but by this time next year. (Joke).
You have to habe BT on and searching for other BT devices on both, your phone and computer or other BT enabled phone. Connect to each other and PAIR them. Once paired select all the music that you want on donor and from Options select Send. It will ask you how to send, Email, USB or BT. You select BT. Then it will ask you who to. Since you are already paired with your phone, the receiver, select it. Your phone will ask you, So and So want to send data, Receive it??? Say yes. And see a red light on both the phones. The transfer has begun. Easy, is it not?

How to send pictures to another mobile phone

Do you mean you want to send a picture via bluetooth? If so, make sure your device and the one you want to send the picture to, are paired to each other. Then, go to 'Start > Programs > File Explorer'. Once there, select the directory containing the picture to be sent, by selecting it in the application's upper bar. Then, tap and hold over the file (the picture). A context menu will pop up. Select 'Beam File...'. A screen will come up showing you the bluetooth devices which have been detected (wait a while for their names to appear). Tap on the device to receive your file. Wait until 'Done' is shown, and tap on OK.
Hope your were seeking for this type of information.
Cheers! Carlos

I have a LG Vu and I want to use the bluetooth setting to download photos into iPhoto. How can I do this? I have tried and tried to no avail, my imac book still shows no connection. Help me please!

What you do is find the bluetooth symbol at the top of your screen (the background) then go to SETTINGS and then to DEVICE VISIBILITY (should be the very top) hit the ON choick then OK for other bluetooth devices to recognise it. then go back to the MAIN BLUETOOTH MENU (just hit back button) and go to SEARCH NEW DEVICE (second one down) but make sure you are in the same room as your computer to have your phone connect with the computer. That should then find your computer and then REQUEST TO PAIR (just touch the name of your mac) and then ENTER THE CODE (should be four zeros if you didnt change it and do the same thing on your mac then after that just select the photo you want to send and hit SEND VIA BLUETOOTH and select your mac

Bluetooth not accepting anything

The T-Mobile G1 doesn't actually support file transfer through bluetooth :S So it's not faulty, it's just not programmed to do that. Sorry! However it should be able to find your bluetooth headset, it always finds mine. Maybe the headset is faulty?

Blackberry curve won't pair with my bluetooth headset

Hello,

Try the following. Hope this helps.

Okay,

1. Go into "Media" on your BlackBerry and enable incoming files (Menu-->Receive using bluetooth).
2. Find the file on your friend's device that you wish to send, and beam the said file accordingly.
2a. If you have not "paired" (created a friendship between) the two devices before, you will need to do this first...
2b. One of the devices will ask for a PIN code first and on this device you need to create a four-digit, numeric password that can be anything you like.
2c. On the second device, enter the four-digit, numeric password you created and follow the simple, on-screen prompts on both devices to complete the pairing (you can also pair the devices in advance by going into Menu-->Set Up Bluetooth).
2d. Depending on the devices being used and the time taken to complete the pairing, you may need to re-send the file (go back to step 1), otherwise, continue below...
3. When your friend's device tries to send you the file, your BlackBerry should ask you to name the file and where to save it; if you have not set the device as "trusted" in the bluetooth settings (Options-->Bluetooth-->your friend's device), you may need to approve the file transfer first though.
4. The file should now be on your device.

Note: by default, all
* Pictures are saved into /Device Memory/home/user/pictures or /Media Card/BlackBerry/pictures if you have a memory card.

* Sounds (including songs) are saved into /Device Memory/home/user/ringtones/ or /Media Card/BlackBerry/ringtones/ if you have a memory card.

* Videos are saved /Device Memory/home/user/videos or /Media Card/BlackBerry/videos if you have a memory card.

In other words, unless you specify somewhere else in step 3, this is where you will find your file.

And remember, your incoming file transfer WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU FIRST "PAIR" (CREATE A FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN) THE DEVICES, go into Media and CLICK MENU-->RECEIVE USING BLUETOOTH!!!

I want to print pictures from my phone at home by sending them to my computer. But it says to "please make sure which you are connecting is in pairing mode". What is pairing mode, and how would I...

Hi,
the u600 has bluetooth, but has your PC, you will have a bluetooth logo in the toolbar (next to the clock in the bottom right) as long as its installed correctly (check your pc manual to see if it has bluetooth built in).
If not you need a bluetooth dongle to plug into the usb port (they are cheap)
you then check the phones manual about pairing put the phone in pairing mode, select your pc and enter a pin number. a window will pop up on your PC asking for the same pin number (it dose'nt matter what the number is as long as its the same on the phone and pc) the you can use the send by bluetooth option in the camera or photo screen of your phone to send it to your pc and it will appear in the received files folder...
best of luck
