This sounds like a problem that only a repair person can specifically point out.  It could be anything from a fuse to the "engine".
Try to find a local "authorized" repair person to give you a free quote with no responsibility on your part to get it fixed as TV repairs can cost 50% of what a new one would or what a working used one would.
Also, I'd recommend to NOT overload your electrical outlets and to not use without a surge protector (a real one).  If there is a storm or it's very windy,  try keeping not only your monitor for your PC off, but also your TV (unless you need it for emergency reasons).  Also, try getting a used battery powered cheap small tv with a digital converter box if you need to monitor the tv during an emergency.  Also, get renters of home insurance to cover the costs of weather related damage.
Last thing... be sure that any "extended warranties" offered by your local electronics store will cover the cost of any weather related power outages.  If so, it may be something to look into purchasing, although I generally advise to not buy into "extended store warranties".
OK, one last last thing... check the warranty with the manufactuer (SHARP)... If it's under warranty, tell them it's not working and you don't know why, so you need a replacement.
Good Luck! thomseye

My W3201C 32" LCD TV made a loud popping noise when I turned it off. Now it will not turn on. No power. No LED light.

That would be your transformer popping and dieing. Usually the popping is followed by a burning smell which is a good indicator that the part is unrecoverable. The cost of the part is variable based on the make and model TV and is usually not too labor intensive to replace. If not under warranty, let the repair gut know that you know what the problem is. Then, ask them to quote the cost of the replacement part and part number. Then ask them to quote you their hourly rate and get a time estimate. Then, google the part number and see if the cost is reasonable.

Damaged the LCD - Sharp 46 in. LCD Full HD Television, AQUOS®

Yes it is possible to replace the panel. I would suspect that it is cost prohibitive however. I am willing to state that the cost of the panel will be close to if not more than the cost to replace the TV.

Sorry about the bad news.

A component is shorting out, and the TV is auto turning itself off for protection. Usually it is a shorted out horizontal output transistor. Only a tech can fix this.

Pc to lcd blurry

check the refresh rate on the PC card as well as the resolution to be sure it's compatible with the tv's specs.
also, there are different ways to connect to LCD TV's... HDMI/DVI - S Video, etc... try dffferent combinations to and from your pc to your tv.

the problem with LCD tvs are that they have back lamps that shine thru the LCD sceen. the job of the screen is to block the light of the different colors to make the picture. the problem is that the very thin screen can not block all the light. if the set has a back lamp setting turn down the back lamps and adjust the brightness control it should help a little. you my notice that the blacks and dark sceens look better when the room is fully lit and look much worse in a darken room.
