Take hardrive out and run it as slave in another computer, run virus and antispyware scan, transfer pics to other computer and put them on disk, if there is virus or spyware that cannot be removed reinstall your harddisk and reinstall operating system your pics have been saved on another comp. so you are then golden

Hello, my emachines e4259 shutts down after boot up., i tried to install another version of vista but itts still stutting down in install program. what can it be?

If it is physically shutting off (like someone yanked the power cord) than it is a power supply

If the computers screen goes black, but the computer still runs, it could be RAM or a motherboard failure

I run windows xp and often the voice goes out and I have to reboot. This happens generally about two days after I reboot. Thanks in advance for your help.

If the sound comes back after Restart even you don't do anything, then there must be some problem with your computer, not only with the Sound driver. It's possible that the sound driver ceases after it runs for a while and it resumes only after the system is restarted. I would highly recommend you to reinstall the sound driver. You can download the sound driver here (Click Here).

I would also suggest you to scan your computer with few antivirus programs. You can use Avg Free, Avira Free and Avast Free. Run full system scans with these antiviruses, but don't forget to install only one of them at a time otherwise it might cause another problem. I hope you have at least one security software (antivirus or antispyware etc..) installed on your computer. Uninstall the currently installed antivirus program and try with the other versions.

If you have problem, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

To make your computer run faster please just follow simple steps
1.make your computer virus free , install a good antivirus and update it also.
2.scan your system to remove viruses, malvares,Trojans etc.
3.Clear registry entries with registry cleaner tools.
4.Install less soft wares on your computer to make it easy for computer
5.At last if your system is very slow then try to upgrade RAM.
this also matters for the speed.

I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY FOR AN EMACHINES T1120 COMPUTER. CANNOT FIND A SCHEMATICS DIAGRAM ANYWHERE.

After reading an article about Emachines awhile back, I found out the reason you can't find the schematic- it isn't available, as some motherboards are made specifically for Emachines and therefore not distributed, as they might normally be, but again, others are, but you have to identify them and go through another source to get them- Emachines, appartantly, will not supply them. All is not lost, however...all motherboards have, basically, the same hookups and connectors for the power supplies, hard drives, etc.- they are standard. I found a web blog that explains the power switch, reset, and power led, which will help. Here it is: http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/emachine-power-sitch-wiring/56545.html
This site will explain about the 24 pin connector from the power supply
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/53750-7-installation-manual-rs480m-w3400-emachine-motherboard
If you google "motherboard wiring" you will find sites that have illustrations of the motherboard, and explain which connectors go to which sockets, and how to identify them.
With a little patience and determination, you should be able to hook everything up from the various blogs on the net. Hope this helps.

How do I factory restore an Emachine w3609?

Hi there.
If there is no option to press F11 as the computer starts then you are going to have to purchase a recovery disk for that machine or purchase a Windows installation disk to fully reset it to factory

I need a restore cd for an emachine t1120

What kind of restore cd? Do you mean for your Operating System? If so, you need to contact your Manufactor of your Computer or you can get it at a Local Retail Store (Such as Best Buy, Walmart, etc) or Online (ebay, microsoft.com, linux) ...Is that what you mentioned?

I need a restore cd for an emachine t1120

You can purchase one from this site:
http://www.myrecoverycds.com/emachineSets.html

Or you can borrow a XP cd from a friend and install it, using the XP license that is on the back of your PC. The go to eMachine's site and download the drivers.

You may have to copy and paste the link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Running out of space on my Emachine T1120, How can I add more memory for 10 GB music files that I have?

I would buy an external drive. You can get a external hard drive as your expanded storage area that connects to your computer via a USB cable. The plus side is its portable so you can take it anywhere with you and when you get a new computer you just plug it in and go.

System recovery

hello,

Yes, everything will be lost when you use system recovery, but if you can do backup you files in your computer, you can do system recovery., So if you cannot back up your files maybe i suggest you to scan your computer online. www.precisesecurity.com/antivirus/online-scan.htm

and then uninstall all the unwanted programs, after scanning you should install antivirus, i recommend AVG, free edition, (search in google)downloadable. if you connected to the computer.

but if you has been backup you can proceed to system recovery using the CD installation disk.

may this help, melnavz

PS:
pls do not rate me if my solution not solve the issue and you need more further information. but if is invaluable solution rate me fixya.
