How do you reset a non original radio 1998 camry

Wandm mmy friend it would be a major help if you could tell me the make and model of your radio. I will say this, most aftermarket radios have a 3 shot counter. What that means is after 3tmes youll have to let it sit with the key on(acc) for usually. 2to3hours before it will accept anymore attemps.

Change the battery and now my radio dont work

find the code (owner hand book radio section) or contact the dealer service centre (If factory fitted) for the code and enter it into the radio . It is an anti theft device that makes the radios useless if stolen which it reads as if you disconnect the battery.

Radio stopped working on my 2003 honda odyssey

Most honda's radios had a theft deterent system that requires a 4 digit code to be entered after power to the system is lost. If you do not have a code setup, look in your owners manual, some had a factory set code to unlock and allow you to set your own code. If not, you may need to see a dealer as they would be the only ones I know that would have the capability to unlock it.

How do i enter radio code for 2009 honda civic

I just had this happen today when I jump started my car due to leaving my head lights on. Call the honda dealership you got your car from, or if you bought it privately just call a honda dealership. They will tell you to press and hold the pre-set buttons 2 & 6 and it will give you a number, they will type it into their computer and they will be able to give you the code. You have to use the pre-set buttons on the radio to enter the code. That will fix the problem... If you already entered to many wrong codes it will not allow you to enter anymore... You will have to either wait an hour and then it will reset again and let you enter the code or you can disconnect the battery for 5-10 mins, reconnect it and then the radio will reset and ask you for the code again. Good luck guys!

Battery replaced on 2001 grand dodge caravan now radio dont work

U will need to enter the radio anti theft code, this lock out was triggered by the loss of voltage to the radio during the battery change, this code is unique to each radio and cam in the owners information packet when the cat was sold new.

I just changed battery and then i found i couldn't use radio anymore. The window show "code" everytime i tried to turn on radio. My car is 1995 Hyundai excel. How do you enter the radio code?...

look in the handbook for the radio,it should tell you how to put the code in.most radios accept the code via the preset tuning buttons,ie first number is number one and so on then press number five to lock it in ,but some radios you press number one for first nunber then when its entered via tuner up and down press one again and enter second number.then am/fm button to lock but some use the tape player play knob ,really is confusing trust me on this .Change a customers battery and then find they dont have code number, also often happens is that change battery and dammed factory immobiliser cuts in...Who would be a mechanic?? any rich widows out their ??
