Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
My xbox is claiming that there is a controller connected when there isn't. As soon as I turn the console off it comes right back on saying there is a controller connected to port 1. If i turn on my controller it comes up as number 2. I have tried everything i know to do and still nothing.
Most likely your xbox is picking up a signal from some other device in your home or near it, such as a cell phone, portable phone, wifi or something else of that nature. Try turning off some of these types of items and see if that solves your problem. Also press the small round button on the console that has 3 dashes on it and then the corrisponding button on the controller located next to the left bumper.
