Question about Dryers
Dryer will ignite and get hot for a couple of minutes, then gets cold. I completely cleaned the vents - there are no obstructions. I tried replacing the radiant sensor that attaches to the burner tube but it did not resolve the issue
More likely problem is your gas valve coils are bad. Very common problem. As you described, burner will fire up initially and then will no fire again the rest of the cycle. Testing the coils with a meter will not help you here. The wire inside them is as thin as a human hair and they will check"good" with a meter.
FWIW, that radiant sensor rarely fails.
