To solve the problem I tosted the whole mess of wires and equipment and bought new equipment. $8,024 spent and now all the new converters are labeled. The industry needs to mark all equipment with DC-IN 9V or whatever. This is a real problem if you have kids and grandkids and too many different standards.

You shouldnt add multiple routers to the mix, what you should use is a switch. A switch will allow you to add multiple devices at the same time without any issue.

Forgot WEP password -- Where can I find it?

You will either have to call you ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask them to reset it, or you will have to stick a needle or pen into the reset button on the router to reset it all, the new default password should be the number on the back of the router.

I am trying to connect a Wi to my LINKSYS WRT54G router to do NETFLIX and I an getting error code 51330

To fix these error messages there are a few things you can try:

Set your router to Mixed Mode.
If it is set to G-Only it will not work.

Set the channel on your router to either 1 or 11

Both of these settings can be found in the wireless tab on a standard linksys router.

i can confirm that changing the router to mixed mode works. I had mine set to G only, I switched it to mixed and bamm. I also shortened my wpa key, it was way to long and I kept messing it up.

I have a 2811 router with a PWR-2811-DC power supply in it. I have a PWR-2811-AC power supply that I would like to install in place of the DC input supply, but there is a second internal electrical...

AC power is like a child's swing -- it goes from "neutral" to "positive" to "neutral" to "negative" to "neutral", and repeats.
DC power is like leaning into a strong wind -- as long as you keep leaning, you stay on your feet; stop leaning, and the force of the wind will blow you down.

So, you cannot substitute AC for DC power.

No power to my router

Check the wall outlet for power, using a lamp or such. If you can get a multi-meter, set the meter to Volts-DC between 12 and 20. Plug the power supply into the wall outlet and test the other end for voltage. The power supply should tell you its output so the reading should be more than a couple of volts. If it is less or ZERO the power supply is dead. If it has power, then open the router and check for a fuse. If the fuse is dead, replace. If there is no fuse or the fuse is OK then the router may be dead. Best of luck.

Nintendo Wi-fi Connector Problem

nintendo ds should work with most routers it's just the set thats a problem, once the wifi game is in go to wifi connection one settings, then where it says auto obtain ip address click no, then edit, then use an ip address that is the next digit up from your pc or your router eg, if your routers ip address is this is what you would type in your internet browser to get into the router settings), the next digit used by a pc would be, so use or above incase you have more than one pc. Next is the subnet mask which should again be as the routers subnet mask which will more than likely be, press edit and enter that number Next is the gateway setting, press edit, this is the same number of your routers own ip address as mentioned earlier this is the ip address you type to get into the router eg next is auto obtain DNS, again click no, then on the primary address click edit and again enter your routers own ip address. next is secondary DNS, again click edit and again enter your routers ip address, then click save settings. You should now be able to connect to your router and the wifi connection at nintendo server.
