Programming charter motorola remote to eliminate 00 before channe

The Charter Remote for Motorola DVR (silver top/black bottom) can be programmed so that you do NOT need to punch in 007 to get channel 7, for example. I have one remote where a technician did this and I only punch in a 7 for channel 7 rather than 007 but now I have another and don't know how to program.

How do I program charter remote to work with the Sharp Roku smart tv?

Hi Cathy.

If you go to this site
Charter net Charter Remote Controls 1060BC2 1060BC3 and put in Sharp as the TV type, it both gives you instructions on programming the Charter remote, and gives you the codes for Sharp TVs (10818, 10093, 10688, 10851, 11602, 12360 in this case)
Hope that gets you up and running!

How can i get my new maxwell table top sound bar to be programmed by my charter remote (motorola OCAP-4)?

If you wish to get more details; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Common set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the "device's brand name list" in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Surf the sites by type in the brand name to your set, in its search box.

Just received a new moxi remote because i was having trouble with my old one. My moxi box is a silver motorola box that says broadband media center. my old remote says charter digital on the bottom and...

Do you know what model MOXI box you have? The new remotes weren't programmed to the MOXI 3012 box. If you have the Moxi MP12, BMC9012, BMC 9012F, BMC 9022 you will need to program the remote to the box.

1. Turn on the Moxi STB.
2. Press and hold the MOXI and OK buttons on the remote until the red LED at the top of the remote blinks twice.
3. After the red LED has blinked twice, release both buttons.
4. Using the numeric buttons on the remote, slowly enter 0, 0, 4. The correct entry of this code will cause the red LED to blink twice.
5. The remote is now programmed to operate the Moxi STB listed above. Go to “Programming the TV”.

Trouble using Motorola DCH6416 HD DVR with standard def. tv

I fixed the problem! I found a posting on a message board by someone who had the same DVR and a similar problem. This person found a way to access a secret menu in the DVR to override the format which is automatically assigned. I followed the same steps to access the menu on my DVR and then tried changing a few settings until I found the ones that worked--changing the automatic setting from OVERRIDE to STRETCH and changing the output setting from 1080i to 480p. (It's pretty pathetic that no one at Charter could fix this problem!) Here is the link to the posting that I used: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1132766

Then press the channel up button until the tv turns off. You may press the button over 100 times. You need to go slow. When the TV turns off press the enter button (or select button).
