If you take the front of the cabinet off, and leave the door switch connected. turn on the dryer. you should see a bright glow coming from the bottom inside off the dryer. if igniter does not glow then your problem could be your igniter or a thermostat. if ignter does glow then the thermostat is ok and the problem could be the igniter is not strong enough or the gas colud be off. if gas is on and igniter glows the problem is your igniter.

There should be a gas igniter, inside of the burner chamber, that will glow bright red before the gas will be allowed to flow. If the dryer model that you have has a flap on the front you will be able to observe this otherwise you will have to remove the front of your machine to check it. If you post back with your machine model number I will be able to assist you further.

If my car ran out of gas completely and i went to put gas. In and now it wont start at all?

Could have burned out fuel pump... or filter clogged . Try spraying starting fluid into intake and turn it over see if it fires. If it dose .you know that you have a fuel problem. Chase it back to problem..

Crank sensor

A faulty crank sensor will cause the engine to immediately shut off (or not start). There is no signal being sent to the ECM to tell it when to fire the spark plugs.

Bike sits a lot,Hard to start, will only continue to run with choke on. Bike backfires alot.

You need to clean your carburetors. The ethanol that is in gasoline turns to an orange colored film
and it clogs the jets. The prevention for this seems to be seafoam added to your gasoline after your carbs are clean.
It does work. If your bike sits a lot, i would also suggest that you start it up weekly and let it warm up. Sitting is the worse thing for gasoline.
Judging from your description and other problems, the backfire is probably bad gas not burning and igniting in the cylinder when overloaded with gas.
A good carb cleaning, consists of taking the carbs off the bike, taking out all the jets and soaking everything in a good carb solution.
I would start with the carb cleaning, drain the old gas out of the tank, start with fresh 93 octane and add the recommended dose of seafoam listed on the back of the botlle to your gasoline.
Put a set of new spark plugs in it, and fire it up.
Your back fire should be gone as well.

Maytag gas dryer did not work properly

so from my understanding you replaced both gas valve coils???? yes,do you have an ohm meter.it dosen't happen often but they could be defective.next if your house venting or dryer was very!!!!!!!!,it would have tobe very blocked up.the heat would open the safty thermo and stop the burner from firing.as a appliance doctor i would take your dryers temputure .lol.. but realy..how hot dose it get.not hot,ok the then dose the voltage drop out at the valve when the coils go out??if it dose its in the other componets before the valve.but if voltage stays presant when coil stops its in the valve area.manufactures used to have connector coming to the valve from the top side[newer dryers they are saving money and left it out then connections would be at the coils]put you volt meter probes there at connector.thats how it works.i had a thought on how to check the flame switch.its the box on the side of the flame tube, black with two wires.after the burner lites[you got to be careful]pull one of those wires off[its hot 110 volts]thats a rare problem but i've had to replace a few over the years[so they do go bad]if after pulling off dryer then works open the door and the power stops to that wire.[also with the power off i might loosen that flame switch wire so comes off eazy when pulled.if any other questions please feel free to email God bless ,tom

My furance dose not fire up to get heating

If you were able to light the pilot light but then it went off immediately before the burner starts firing, highly likely the thermocouple in your furnace is broken. If you are not a handyman, it is not simple to replace this as well, you can cause gas leakage if you have never worked with gas. Suggest to contact a licensed gas repairman even though the thermocouple part is not expensive.
