Question about IBM ThinkPad T21 Notebook
Hi everybody.. i have a T21 laptop: PIII, 600Mhz, 250 Mo RAM, ... my problem is: when i want to start my computer by puching on the start button... there is nothing!!! blackout!!! so i need to try many time.. puching the start button until the computer start... please if any from u have a solution or an idea about this problem... please tell me thanks a lot
Are you saying that it takes pressing the power button a number of times before it will start up? If there are no LEDs on (other than the power LED on the external A/C power adaptor) until pressing the power on button finally works then I suspect your power switch is defective. The only way to fix that is disassembly and replacement. Replacing the switch isn?t too hard however unless you have the tools, time and some experience you might want to consider taking it down to the local repair shop. If you have any more questions let us know and please don?t forget to rate this posting.
