I need to retrieve my password on the Speedstream 6520 Router so I can log in wireless with my iphone.

not possible to retrieve a password! that's why they are secure... if you have your ISP ADSL setup details you can reset the router to factory default and reprogram it from scratch, or call their help desk BEFORE you do it and ask them to email you the connection details before you start. then WRITE the password on a label and stick it to the router.

I want to download siemens speedstream 6520 driver and .dll ,i lost my installer

Routers do not requre drivers as they use TCP/IP for communication. Since this is the case you should be able to plug a PC into the ADSL device directly via ethernet cable. However if you are looking for information such as documentation or firmware updates, I suggest going to Siemen's website. It is not loading at the time of this writing but it is here at

How do i make my speedstream 6520 wireless?

"If your PC has not been connected to a broadband modem or other network device, you will need to
perform the PC configuration procedure below. Remember to restart each PC when finished. If your
PC has been connected to a broadband modem or other network device, continue to the “Using the

5. If additional configuration is desired, select the icon for the service or option
you wish to configure: the gateway’s firewall and security settings, User
Profiles and content filtering, or home network options."

"Using the Wireless Connection
By default, the SpeedStream® Gateway is configured to work
seamlessly with other SpeedStream® wireless products. The default
wireless interface settings are:
SSID: SpeedStream
Channel: 11
Mismatched wireless settings will prevent successful
wireless network connections between devices, so
you may need to reconfigure some wireless settings
to ensure that all settings match between wireless
devices if you are:
a) Using another manufacturer’s wireless products
b) Adding the SpeedStream® Gateway to an existing
wireless network
The Setup Wizard will walk you through setting up wireless settings."

Connected but cannot access internet

If you have a good IP address, re-boot the router. If your address starts with 169., then you don't have a good IP address.

Yes.Get rid of it.I have a Satellite also and do agree configuration was dodgy at first but the range in Wi-fi was not even 50 ft. as opposed the 100 ft. promised. But finally, after it shorted out my dial tone like most other 6520's I just went back to my trusty speedstream 4100.Good-luck.

Siemens Speedstream 6300 problems

Heres what I would do. Plug the speeedstream in, reboot the computer. Now we need to find your "Default Gateway" (the IP address of your speedstream). In windows XP:
Click Start
Click RUN
type CMD
type IPCONFIG (enter)

you will now have some information on your screen, look for the "default gateway" Enter this number in the address bar and you should be directed toward the speedstream configuration page.

(If its anything like the Speedstreem 6520 you will go to the "Home Network" option and then you will see wireless.)

Hope this helps!
