Can't load photos on to the Sunpak digital photo frame

I can't get the photos loaded onto the Sunpak photo frame. I have checked the files and they are all JPEG picture files on my SD card. Am I doing something wrong?

I have the same problem BUT I have a bad fix. I took pictures of the pictures on a reformated disk in my Canon 620A camera. Now I can put this SD card in the Sunpak and the pictures are there.
If you put that SD card in your computer and add a picture that you downloaded from the same camera it will NOT work in the Sunpak.

I saved a bunch of .jpg files onto a new SD card, and the Sunpak just says "Loading." I then took the SD card straight out of my Nikon and into the frame, and it does the same thing. "Loading" is all I get... Help!

SOURCE: just bought a sunpak 7"

I have found that when you have the source of the photo files connected to the picture frame and are viewing from the menu it says "USB" Select the photos you what to paste by following the instructions and then change the "Device" to "favorites" and the paste by pressing the "enter" button. You can only paste about 10 files or photos at a time...so if you have allot it take a while. hope this helps

Have a new 8 gig memory. Shows full before all pictures load, should have loads of room?

I would format it using your computer, then try loading in your photos again.

In Window, go to your file explorer, right click on the drive and click Format.

It's ok to do a 'quick format'.

This will delete everything on the drive.
Now try loading on your photos, and see if that made a difference.

You may have mistakenly started in test mode, I suggest resetting the device, here is a link to the manual, it should have something about resetting the frame.

On the opening frame when you turn it on Scroll through the icons to "setup" . Press enter.. A screen will come up sayinf "set up menu-photo setting"..Scroll down the left column to the center multi color icon and press enter. Press the right arrow on the handheld. In the grey box that comes up you will see various controls.. The third on the list is "brightness" . Press enter and then right arrow .. Scroll to setting you desire. (Normal, bright or soft are offered).. Good luck..
I also posted a question that you may know the answer to. How do I load photos on to the unit from my computer. I see there is a USB port on the Sunpak and I have a USB port on my computer .. but no cord with 2 USB port ends?

Had this same problem and found this solution after digging on this forum, and it worked...you have to pay attention to the "Device" you are pasting to. It's cumbersome for copying mutliple pictures, but with persistance, it works.

I can't load photos onto my digital photo frame

The  A701 is  a bit cranky.  I've found that it prefers  USB  flash sticks of upto  2GB. It likes the flash stick formatting  before use.  And it prefers  jpg files  added  to the root directory of the flash stick -  so  no images in folders. Finally but probably least important, it's not much point uploading  2MB  jpgs as  the screen  is pretty much  72DPI  smaller size JPGS  lead to a faster loading. ( try  around 900x 600 dpi )
