Here is a link to the manual: http://books.jvcservice.com/download/718134980/32506.pdf There does not appear to be a way to set tuning to european standards. Is there a particular reason you want to be able to tune those frequencies?

Hi, thankx for coming back. i'm live South Africa, our tuning is normally set to European standards. I managed to get a way to do it. "Hold FM/AM and Press #5" this resets it to European standards.

My hp elitebook 6930p refuses to power on, screen black and keeps turning on the power light and turning it off again at intervals

The elitebook is trying to tell you via the power indicator etc. what the failure is on starting up.

Read this page to determine what the problem is and what to do about it.

How to tun up

There is not much these days to tuning up a modern car. A lot of things are not adjustable anymore. You should not mess with the idle speed, engine timing, and emissions gear unless there is a problem indicated by the engine check light, or it does not pass the annual check for rod use. It boils down to changing the spark plugs, oil, coolant, etc at regular intervals.

How do you change your chord set-up on an autoharp and is there any reason not to set it up like a piano keyboard (C-D-E-F-G-A-B)? Thanks in advance.

An autoharp makes chords by muting all the strings except those that make the chord. There would be 2 ways to change the chord structure. 1) retune the strings knowing which ones will be muted by each key so that the result is another but valid chord or 2) make your own "keys" so that they mute different strings.
The tuning of an autoharp is selected to allow you to play songs as long as they are in the right key or two. If you set it "like a piano" as you suggest, you could play those chords but not the chord sequences that make up most songs. Most songs revolve around sequences or intervals such as the popular 1 - 4 - 5 blues progressions. Most music has some predictable progressions and that's why the autoharp is tuned the way it is.
You can always experiment with different and odd tunings but if your goal is to play already written songs, I'd stick with the normal tunings - there are alternates.

If I use synthetic in my primary how often should it be changed?

You may want to follow the standard changing intervals just so it is easier. With synthetic oils you will benefit from better lubrication, cooler temperatures, longer transmission life, and if you desire longer intervals between changes. You could just change as needed shorter intervals city driving and much longer intervals highway driving , much like motor oil. Or set a longer interval to follow for the transmission change. The manufacturer usually gives you recommendations in the owners manual , unless you keep a chart it is just easier to follow that recommendation. Besides, oil is cheap compared to your bike. More changes are always better than less changes.

Hello, I have a VW Golf (54 plate) and the radio keeps re-tuning as I'm driving along. It does this at random intervals (sometimes minutes apart, sometimes up to an hour) and changes the frequency by just...

My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs from www.reliable-store.com instead. much better info on all vehicles, complete details, and they also
have live assistance feature

If I am changing from reg oil to synthetic is there anything special I have to do before I put the syntehtic also is it true that you can go longer on sytetic oil than reg oil? Kia Sedona 06

I like to say that sysnthic oil is great but engines that are oil enought to have built up deposits from the ordinary oil these deposits can turn hard and scratch up the motor if the engine is near new or newly rebuilt nothing but pu the oil in and go. if it's older you can get benifits from the blended oils. As for longer change intervals the oil it'self may be OK but engine wear and tuning problems can get contanimants in the oil and the oil will need to be changed to get them out. so the ecomomy of the better oil and longer change intervals willbeovercomed by the added drit so often changs=es with ecomony oil may be cheaper and better. If the oil stays clear for a long time the full sysnthinic and longer change times may be the way to go. The higher price of the full synthic oils and then chnge it less often than the difference in price may be too long and therfore no savings

Who sets the "service now" interval?

yes you should go to the dealer for this, you either have a soft code or a hard code.If the light is always on it is a hard code, get it checked before more problems occur.
