Question about Kodak EASYSHARE G610 Thermal Printer

Printerdock paper error - unplug 5 secs - restart

Have tried all troubleshooting suggestions. Paper feeds1st time to the back of the printer prior to the error message then stops. The color cartridge is new, have checked it and it is in correctly. Don't see any way to put it in wrong. It is a Kodak cartridge and paper. Printerdock is approx 3 years old. Thank you. John Dune

I have the exact same problem. The printer will try to grab the paper and sometimes it doesn't on the first try but it eventually gets it. Once it takes it in completely it starts coming back out the front like its printing but its blank and it spits it out and says paper jam. New paper and new cartridge. Big bummer. Does this everytime now and nothing is stuck inside.

SOURCE: kodak #G600 printer dock/roller won't pull paper through

I read this solution to a problem someone else was having which was similar to my problem. I wiped off the roller with a damp cloth, made sure it was dry and that's all it took to allow the roller to be able to start to pull the paper through. - thanks for the help!

SOURCE: Kodak ESP 3250. Error 3527. I put new ink

Contact Kodak. I think it's the batch of printers that were made around this time. I just contacted them (mine is the same age and I'm getting the same error), and they are sending me a new printer.

My printer cartridge has gone beserk

Follow the instructions below to resolve the issue you are experiencing.

1) Turn off the printer and remove all paper from the paper tray & disconnect it from the computer.
2) With the printer off, check for any obstructions such as torn paper or foreign objects.
3) Turn on the printer (still disconnected from the computer) and check the lights / lcd screenmag-glass_10x10.gif.

4) Place 20-30 sheets of paper in the printer, ensuring none of the paper is torn or creased.
5) Make sure that the paper is flush with the far right edge of paper tray, move the left edge paper guide over so that it touches the left side of the paper.
6) Try to feed paper manually (using the paper feed button).

7) Before re-connecting the printer to the computer, uninstall the printer driver and restart the computer.
8) Re-install the printer driver.

Error message says, "out of paper" although tray is full of paper. I click print, the wheels spin, but the paper does not go through. What's the remedy?

1) If under warranty , call HP.
or
- Take out the cartridge and papers
- Unplug the Power cable while the printer is on.
- Wait for 10 secs.
- Replug the power cable while holding down the power button, hold the power button for about 25 secs.
- restart the Printer
Install the cartridge and paper.

Try it out...enjoy

Paper Jam light lit, but no paper anywhere. I've checked everywhere. Please help me reset the error light

This could have multiple causes, and the fix can be dependent on your operating system. Please go to the Dell troubleshooting site by clicking here and attempt to work through the troubleshooter. If you are not successful, try turning the printer off and unplugging it for a few moments, then plug it back in and restart. Lexmark X6570 printer - Cleared paper jam. No paper scraps visible anywhere in printer. Continue to get error message to clear paper jam and then press the "check" button. Does not reset. ...

Ok, the paper jam could be due to one of the following:
  • Check for paper in the paper tray
  • Check the size of the paper in the paper tray to see if it is the same as what the printer is set for.
  • Defective D-roller
  • Debris in the paper path
  • Gears not turning or broken gear
  • Defective paper tray
  • Broken input sensor flag
  • Defective input sensor board
  • Defective system cable 2
  • Defective system board
  • Exit Sensor flag (Fuser)
  • Exit Sensor board (Fuser)
  • System cable 1
First try a hard reset - unplug printer from power source, wait a minute and replug. If it still does not work, uninstall the driver, reboot PC and reinstall (or download latest version from lexmark.com.

If there is no bit of paper or debris stuck in the rollers, it would indicate something more serious, and in need of servicing. If your machine is under warranty, I suggest you take it back to the shop and get it replaced.

If your warranty has run out, then you'll either have to get it serviced or buy a new printer (whichever works out cheaper for you)

Hope that helps!
