Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I have a satellite laptop. The screen has gone blank. When I press the power button to shut it down and then shut the lid it powers back up.
Don't know why the screen is blank. Toggle the F9 key to make sure you didn't accidentally toogle off the screen.
As far as turning off the power and shutting down the computer, the old stand-by is to take out the battery and then pull the plug. The computer will power down. Replace the battery, replace the plug and then push the start button. You may have to start it up in SAFE mode since the shut down process was not the "normal' process the computer expects to follow.
