Mouse pointer stuck.

Why doesnt mouse work? i changed batterys. my other laser mouse works on the same pad.

Hi
make sure when you chang the battery if your mouse has a light(usually red light) it is on
second make sure optical eye is clean , use air duster to clean it , if your mouse is not dameged ,now it should be working .

I'm assuming it's an optical mouse, but a few details are lacking in your post. Is it the same mouse pad that you used before you changed your batteries? Is your mouse pad shiny? Because that will affect the performance of an optical mouse. And really, and optical mouse doesn't need a mouse pad. If it works OFF of the mouse pad, just get rid of the pad.

Sensing distance problem


Hello,

See if anything (piece of paper, dirt, a bread crumb, what have you) is stuck in the Sensor Hole, underside of mouse.
Clean the 4 plastic pads, Change the mouse pad.
Try reconfiguring the sensitivity of the mouse (Contro Panel, Mouse Icon)

is the surface that you are working on glossy? make sure you have a mouse pad, glossy surfaces make the laser bounce and moves your mouse on its own...

try this... unplug the USB and plug it back in,

& clean the laser window on botton of the mouse,

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 (Model 1052):


Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse buttons. Put the pointer on the left button and then go to the drop down and make sure the buttoon is set properly.

Logitech wireless laser mouse will not move, pointer is stuck mostly on horizontal movement, won't go up or down, struggles to move in any direction really


change the batteries of the mouse if that didnt work.

try to clean the otycan head of mouse.

i used to have this problems the answer is new batteries its made it work for me and 1 the a mouse pad but now i have a problem my mouse curser doesn't move at all i dont know why lol
