Question about Kenmore 659 Electric Dryer
MY DRYER HAD STARTED BLOWING COOL AIR. I TOOK THE DRYER APART AND CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS AND MADE SURE THERE WAS NOT ANY BLOCKAGE OF LENT. ONCE I PUT THE DRYER TOGETHER AGAIN, IT WAS BLOWING HOT AIR, BUT ONLY FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE PROBLEM.
You need to check the heating element and the thermal fuse in the back of the dryer, they should be their. do you have an ohme meter, if not barrow one or you can pick one up cheep and lowes or homedepo .

Kenmore 80 Series of dryers are consumer grade dryers for home use. As
with most home appliances, the Kenmore 80 series dryers will
occasionally not work as intended. If a problem occurs with your dryer,
however, you do not necessarily need it serviced by a technician. You
can attempt to troubleshoot and fix any problems with your dryer before
contacting a technician.
