Kenmore series 80- spin cycle does not spin

Spin cycle only spins when empty, barely spins when loaded.

sounds like you have a bad spin bearing. If the unit is over 4 years old, might not be worth fixing. I recommend not using that unit till you have it fixed or get a new one.

No spin cycle

your motor turns one way for the spin cycle and the other way for agitate. remove the coupler and test it that way.

This may be an indication of a failing transmission. Look underneath the machine and particularly at the base of the transmission for signs of leaking oil. If so, the transmission is definitely failing.
