Question about IBM ThinkPad R50e Notebook
Instructions say to use the Acess IBM button when prompted at startup and then to select the option Restore Factory Settings, however I am not seeing this option after pressing the button. I get the following:
Startup Interrupt Menu
Press one of the following keys to continue:
ESC to resume normal startup
F1 to enter the IBM BIOS Setup Utility
F12 to choose a temporary startup device
Press Enter to pause...
How can I restore to factory settings?
You might have deleted the Hidden partition within the drive .So you will not get the restore factory setting option

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
