I pluged in my HTC Touch Pro and i can find it on my computer

Im trying to get music on my phone.
I have a micro sd card in the phone but when i plug in my phone into my computer via usb the noise that you hear when you plug in a usb happens.
But nothing els happens, no window pop up, and i try to look for the micro sb card in my computer but i can find it.
This problem also happens when i plug in my ipod, is this happing because of the computer or because of something els and how can i fix it?

Yes it is possible to directly have access to your sdcard through your htc touch pro. Go to configuration> connexion > PC to USB > uncheck "active Sync" but check "Activate the advanced network" and check "Disk reader (faster transfer of file). I could see my sdcard in my PC like if it was a USB device. Sorry but My HTC touch pro is in french so my translation is perhaps bad.

Remove the SD card from the phone, insert the card into a card reader, attach it to your computer, and once the computer recognizes the card, drag the mp3 music onto the card. Return the card back to the phone, then BINGO..., have the media player to search the card.

This is because your Touch Pro is not a Mass Storage device. You have to actually take out the memory card and put the memory card into the Memory Card Adapter and place the adapter into your computer in the memory card slot. You then have to label folders for MUSIC, VIDEO, IMAGES, and DOCUMENTS and then place the files in the corresponding folders. It will make that noise because a USB device is being connected. This device can be used as a modem which is why your computer recognizes it.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

How much of GB micro SD card does htc tytn-2 support ?

THe MicroSD card slot which can handle cards up to 32GB to satisfy your thirst for videos/music/photos/applications. MicroSD cards are now pretty cheap, I saw an 8GB card recently for $18.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

I can't get songs on my micro SD card for my cell phone

No, Im Sorry But Adaptors Are Incapable Of Holding Memory, And You Shouldn't Take Out The Micro SD Before You Remove The SD Card, You Should Also Try Putting In The Micro SD Card And Going To Tools And Enter Into The Memory Option And Selecting Card, Then Using The Options Button Format It, Then Put It Back Into You Computer And Save All Your Songs To The Folder Named my_music This Should Work, And Just So You Know The Phone Will Not Play All Of The Songs That You Put On It For Some Reason, Its Some Formatting Conflict The Songs Can Be In .wma Format Or .mp3 not .mp4 or any other types.
