Question about Sony NW-A1000 MP3 Player
My NW-A1000 was working fine until I put more music onto it. I have formatted the MP3 player twice and put the music back on. When you go onto Artists and choose an artist for example Guns n Roses, if you press 'All Guns n Roses' it would come up with all the songs for artist below, in my case being Green Day. This only happened after i auto transfered it.
This means that your Library is corrupted and needs to be recreated this will not delete you *.omg files just you library.
Please delete your Library: Go to the Windows Explorer, and make sure to make hidden files visible (go to the Tools on the menu and click the Folder Options, then on the View tab, select the Show hidden files and folder.)
Browse to C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation\CONNECT Player\Library and delete all the files located in this folder. Then, recreate a new library.
