MY JACUZZI HOT TUB STOPPED HEATING

IT'S AN OLDER MODEL WITH NO DIGITAL DISPLAY ON THE CONTROL PANEL. IT HAS A RHEOSTAT TYPE DIAL CONTROL WHICH LIGHTS UP WHEN THE HEATING ELEMENT IS ON AND A SINGLE BUTTON (MEMBRANE TYPE LIKE A MICROWAVE) WHICH CYCLES THROUGH PUMP,JETS W/LIGHT, JETS W/O LIGHT AND OFF. I USED IT ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND TODAY I WENT TO CHECK THE CHEMICALS AND THE WATER IS COLD. IT'S 15 DEGREES TODAY SO I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME BEFORE STUFF STARTS FREEZING (IF IT HASN'T ALREADY) THERE IS NO ICE IN THE TUB YET.

Sounds like it could be either the heating element, the thermostat or pressure switch problem. Does the light come on when it is trying to heat? if it doesn't come on then most likely the heating element needs to be changed.

Circuit braker keep popping

Sounds like the heating element has gone out again. Once you reset the circuit breaker and the tub turns on it will start to circulate the water. This usually runs like this for about 2 mins and then the tub will recognize it is cold and send power to the heater. If the element is back at that point it will blow the circuit breaker.
If this circuit breaker pops as soon as you turn it on then you most likely have a bad circuit board.

Jacuzzi hot tub, Water is too hot. Heats until it trips the system. I have replaced the analog temperature control,

1) Safety question first
Why hasn't the GFCI tripped.
If your spa is not protected by ground fault., then you are at serious personal risk.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GFCI.html#arc-fault

2) Replace the element.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-test-water-heater-element.html

3) If element is cracked, it can continue heating to ground wire, causing runaway heating.
This applies to spas, and water heaters of all type.

Need a users manual

Kathy,

I think what you're looking at are the part numbers for the heater and control systems used in some Jacuzzi hot tubs rather than the Jacuzzi model number. I ran into the same issue and discovered through some cross-referencing on the web (jacuzzi parts suppliers) that this is the part number control unit made by Balboa. Odds are they were used in multiple Jacuzzi models.

My suggestion: Look here http://clearcreekspas.com/model_id.html to identify the control panel for your Jacuzzi and then follow the link to the correct manual. Some cover multiple models so you will need to know the electrical requirements of yours (120 V or 240 V?) and then check the layout of each tub shell to determine which model is yours.

I figured out mine is a Jacuzzi Essence Model 350 this way.

Good luck!

No power to the display panel

Watch the panel as somone turns the power off and on and see if anything shows up like dashes. The only way to check a panel/ keypad is with a good one
