You will need contact your service provider to get the subsidy unlock code to use your phone internationally or on another wireless carrier. They can walk you through how to enter the code in properly. It is free of charge.

The V3m is a CDMA phone, so it will be limited as to where it works internationally. Most countries use GSM technology, and the two are not compatible. If you are with your current carrier for more then 90 days, you can request a code by calling their support number. It will take around 1 - 3 weeks to get the code from them, and its totally free.
