Question about Lexmark X7170 All-In-One Scan/Copy/Fax and Photo Printer

Won't work Still told by Lexmart well have the download sometime this month to install a driver? If I had known this I would'nt have bought Lexmart, I thought it would be up todate, I only bought the unit last month. I' had lexmart in the past and never had a problem, thats why I bought it again, but, now? I need the fax and pictures last month now this and I don't want to see suggestions,I want to talk to Lexmart tects and hopefully a,American, so I can understand him or her. My phone number is 501-812-0691. I truely think, for what I payed for this item, I should'nt have to be going through this! I have a All-In-One Lexmart X7170 series and I want to hear from Lexmart, not suggestions or I'm taking it back,for a refund. Not that I think you really care

When well Lexmart have the proper driver for me to install? Its been almost two months since I first contacted them by phone,I'm asking for someone to call me in the afternoon to explain when I can have my printer working, I need it bad! Phone#501-812-0691 Thank You Keeling

My lexmart want work with my vista


go to www.lexmark.com and in the search box type in "6170" and click on the search button.

It will bring you to the page for you lexmark x6170 printer. scroll down and in the drivers and downloads section click on windows vista.

Then on the next page in the recommended downloads area click on the tab that says windows vista. There will be a name of the file you have to download. Click on the download button and let the file download.

Once the download is done, double click on the filename which should be cjrx6100en.exe. Let it run and it should install the software and have your computer recognize the printer.

Go here, and type Lexmark X4270 into the model box.
Then download the Vista driver.

Can you help me to download installation instructions for a Lexmart Z25 Printer.


You find the instructions here :
Lexmark Z25, Z35 Color Jetprinter
You will need the printer disk to install the printer.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthe file,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructions below to reset and reinstall:

  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website and run the file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Note:some printer does not work on Vista

you may have a bad disk--go to www.lexmark.com look for drivers and downloads then-- driver finder. you should be able to get the right download.

hi is the pc your on xp or vista ?
some printers are not compatible on vista if this is what your using there is however a fix for this go on the net and down load a program called driver genius 2007 pro this will find any driver problems on your pc sys and down load the drivers to fix any problems on you pc complet .
