14 months? Just after the Manufacturers warranty went out, I bet they palnned that:(

Well, if you cant get any warranty service done on it then you may be out of luck.

Sometimes the little click button thats attached to the circuite board behind the plastic button you press for power, breaks lose from the sodering on the circuit board, so the T.V. itself probably works but the button went out.
You have tried using the remote right?

just asking.

With an off brand and cheap labor and materials, any number of circuits could have gone bad and you could be at it for ever.

I would start looking into local T.V. Repair shops, find someone who has a good record or has some kind of writen guarantee for there service.

Find out the cost first, as a new HDTV 32' now is about $500 at target or walmart.

Main circuit might be burned, that's why tv screen wont come back on, you have to think wether it should be worth it to repair it or buy a new one. Good luck monty25

Red LED light

It either indicates (varies by brand) power is present or a problem exists=more likely the first and not the second.

What is the set doing or not doing?

I presume you have looked for puffed up caps in the power supply?

I have to unplug wait for the power light to stop flashing red multiple times before it will come on

When the TV does this, the RED LED on the front will blink. For digits 1-10 it will blink pause then repeat. For numbers with 2 digits it will blink the first digit slow and then second digit fast. So 25 would be 2 slow blinks followed by 5 fast blinks.

LG 47" LCD shuts down several times w/ blinking red light.

Granger1212 we had the same problem. We called LG and although our LG was out of warranty by 4 months, we were asked to supply our proof of purchase and LG sent a serviceman to our home and in 2 days we had our television back working wonderfully. It's the power supply, call LG and BE NICE, I'm sure they will fix it.

Ilo 32 lcd

I have the same issue. Here's a temporary solution, which is what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks, unplug the unit from the wall, just long enough for the red standby light to go out, then plug the unit back up. as soon that the red standby light comes on, press the on button the the remote or the unit. You may have to do this couple of time before it works. Somedays it works on the first try for me and then somedays I have to do it 3 to 4 time. I sure that at some point this will stop working too.

Power button is green - no blinks / no picture / no sound

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.
