Question about LG LFX25960ST Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator
About four days ago, I noticed that when I pressed for crushed ice, it took almost a minute before I got crushed ice if any at all. When I looked into the ice holder, I found there was only a small amount of ice in it. So I closed it back and did not try to use it for a day. There is no ice being made. There is water coming through, but no ice. Can anyone tell me what to look at in order to solve this delema.
This problem often happen with the refridgerator, , you will need to replace the ice maker. to get it working well again it cost about $100 .

With ours it is ice collection on the fan in the freezer section. This is located about half way down under the icemaker (please unplug to proceed). If you remove the four hex head screws and lift up the metal flap you will find the fan assemble and most likely the ice build up to chip off.
