Question about Panasonic DMR-EH55 DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder
I removed the disk from eh-55 and attached it to the PC. The disk wasn't recognized so I inicjalized it. Now when I attached it back to the recorder it wants to format the disk. Is any way to solve the problem?
I have swapped hard drives in my DMR-EH55 several times when I was trying to see if a larger hard drive would give me more recording time. After several days of playing around I was unable to increase it beyond 92 hours. Anyways, back to your question, I have lost the contents of my hard drive twice from swapping around and hooking up to my computer to try and copy contents, so in my experience I don't think you will be successful. Since this is an older post, perhaps you were and if so, please post solution.
PS - firmware update image is available from Panasonic's website if your unit is asking for lLD FVU
