Question about KitchenAid KDRS807SSS Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range

2 Answers

The first symtom happend about 4 days ago when it seems like if the oven were not working properly, the Broil burner seems to stop working but I'm not absolutlely sure because the food was almost ready and I didn't pay too much attention.

After that I tried a coule of times to start the broil and it light the top oven burner for a few secconds and then stop.

Today I was about to Self-Clean the kitchen and when I press the Self-Clean button the pannel start showing the message: "Enter Probe Temp or Remove Probe" and there are no probe connected to the kitchen. I try by entering a temp value and selecting Start but it goes back to the message asking for a temp or to remove an inexisting probe.

I tried cutting off the power by turning off the breaker for a while to see if the kitchen resets or something like that, but when I turn it back on I get the ussual time setting message and then the "Enter Probe Temp or Remove Probe" message appears.

Any suggestions other than call for service?

There must be an internal temp probe, and that is defective, otherwise it is a faulty control board.

When I turn on the oven the bake burner does not ignite but one of the top burners tries to ignite. Neither the bake or broiler oven will ignite. KitchenAid Model:KGRS807SSS00

you don't have a regular igniter in this stove you have stick igniters it sounds like you have a bad spark module part WPW10331686 all the igniters are plugged into it,the spark module is up in the top console on the left side or on the back wall but it's easier if you pull out the stove to get behind it,make sure you unplug the stove before you work on it,go here to see picture of module
also you can go here to sears site, put your model number in and see all parts,go to control panel to see spark module

Kitchenaid oven won't turn on

FOLLOW the OWNERS instructions to TROUBLE-SHOOT (EG remove the door, clean it & replace it properly, etc.). On my model... check the center top for a simple switch lever... than gets pushed straight in when the door is PROPERLY CLOSED...
(light should go OUT).

ELSE your door switch "thinks" your door is open =

As much as I detest SEARS... KITCHENAID is close behind:
If you cannot find your door switch issue on a REPUTABLE PARTS SITE

for their repair service... Act quickly... SEARs is deservedly going out of business.

But first look around... for GOOD VIDEOS

Gas kitchenaid gas stove code F02. Turned off breaker seemed to cool down at first now getting warmer. Can't open oven door, like it is cleaning. What do Ido now?

Shut off the breakers and GAS make sure the oven has completely cooled... This may take a significant time
without the aid of the cooling fans...

While you are waiting the requisite HOURS....
Look up your model number on reputable parts sites..
I will list below.

The most likely failure point is a simple heat sensor... (thermal switch" which SHOULD HAVE released your door IF INDEED it
was cool enough (this is VERY critical).
