Try going to the Control Panel and uninstalling the printer. **Make sure you have your printer install disc handy to reinstall BEFORE you uninstall the printer. Then unplug the printer. Insert the disc and reinstall following the discs instructions.
The application file might have gotten corrupted. You can try to reinstall the printer driver using the install disc that came with your printer. Or you can also download the driver by visiting the Lexmark website.
You probably don't have drivers or software installed. You can download everything you need here:
go to that link, choose your operating system near the bottom of the page, and install the file downloaded. Hope this helped. =)
Fisrst her ,again maybe, is the download website for that printer. What a person ned lok for when downloading a driver is the versin of windowns that they have. For examle the person whom said tht they have the same problem said that they have VISTA and Xp. not possible. GO to START the right click MY COMPUTER to see which version of windows you have. Never believe stickers on the outside. Go to the website and download the driver for your
version of windows.
GO to the CONTROL PANEL- PRINTERS AND FAXS - INSTAL PRINTER. when the compiuter asks you if you want to have it find the driver say no and tell it where to find the driver, on you computer, that you have downloaded.
