Question about Seagate Computers & Internet
The drive is recognized and was working and one morning i looked and it was asking bme if i wanted to format the drive...said i needed to format it to use it....i am trying to fix the problem without formatting as i don't want to lose my data
Some times ago I faced problem like this. I discussed with an expert from local market about it On his suggestion I arranged an other hard disk and connected my PC. Note that I was already using two hard disk one as a master, 2nd for slave and the third one of same size of defective hard disk. I installed hard disk migration software on the master. I successfully copied all data on the secondary master. There is no need to make same partitions. The software will automatically make same copy of the disk to the destination disk including equal partions if they exists. Remember you have connect three hard disk with the same PC. I can arrange address of the software for you. Feel free to mail me at:
