Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Just off the phone with Pioneer customer service. Apparently a "software glitch" common enough that an internal memo has gone out to replace units under warranty without further trouble shooting. The last step in the process was to remove the battery, place in the original charging cradle without the battery, and hold the power switch down for 10-15 seconds; if the "Please Wait" message continues, the unit is defective.

My device got the "Please Wait..." the same day my subscription ended and was not renewed. I also though "how convienient?"
