You can override this problem in many instances by manually selecting a cassette and pressing the start button.
The original you are using may be an odd size or it is a book which is not being detected correctly

Won't recognize paper size hp document

HP's are notorious for not recognising paper sizes. Especially if you are out of the USA. HP printers are default set for USA paper. I have to set mine every now and again to the UK paper size system before it will print within the borders.

Go to paper selection etc and set the paper sizes before you print. Eventually, they do memorise the settings, as odd as that sounds.

Lexmark officeedge pro550 print drawer won't close with legal size paper in it

That's normal. If you extended the tray to accommodate legal-size paper, then the tray sticks out from the front of the printer when inserted.

How do i make a photocopy in such a way that the original is copied half the size with 2 copies on the same page?

You put your paper in the copier and use the keys on the menu to reduce the size to 50%. Make 2 copies and put them side by side back into the copier and make one copy.

Our Toshiba Copier has A5-R on the display and will not copy at 100%. I either get the top and bottom of the pag4 cut off or the copier prints it at 50% of its real size. Help!

A5 R is a European paper size. Check the tray settings. Toshiba usually do not have auto size settings, and the size needs to be set in user setttings thru the utility button. look for drawer icon

Have a canon b95 faxphone machine. When receiving legal size documents, it receives and prints on 2 separate sheets. How do I correct so incoming only prints on 1 legal size paper

Use the settings to select LGL as the paper size. (But note that you have to have legal size paper in the machine)

1. Press the Function key (left side, lower right button)
2. Press the Start/Copy key (right side, lower center button). The display will show USER SETTINGS.
3. Press the Left or Right arrows (right side, upper row) until you see PRINTER SETTINGS in the LCD.
4. Press the Start/Copy key
5. Press the Left or Right arrows until you see PAPER SIZE in the LCD.
6. Press the Start/Copy key
7. Press the Left or Right arrows until you see LGL
8. Press the Start/Copy key
9. Press the Stop key (right side, lower right button).

Jamming of letter size paper

You will probably have to set the paper size in the settings of the machine and/or on the software driver on the PC (if you are using it as a printer?)
