My chainsaw carbarator is not getting gas. model# 358357230

Chainsaws have all position diaphram carbs, this is because it has to work in all positions, one side of the carb will have a pump diaphram, this is actuated by a positive and negative pulse from the piston riseing and falling ( there will either be an impulse pipe from the crankcase to the carb, or a hole in the induction block and gaskets to achieve this ) the other side of the carb will have a metering diaphram, a needle and jets, this takes the place of a float bowl on a normal carb, as the engine is cranked the pump diaphram pulses, this in turn draws fuel from the tank via the fuel hose and filter. So if there is no fuel in the line, either the filter in the tank is blocked, or the hose is trapped, split or leaking, or you have no impulse to the carb.

Could it be the inpulse pipe in the husky 50 rancher making it rave out some times

Certainly a fuel starvation issue, the impulse is a small rubber boot in the cylinder which seals a plastic tube in the back of the carb housing, if the boot has split it will cause problems, there is also a rubber indudction tube above it, make sure this is not split, fuel starvation can be caused by many things, blocked fuel filter in the tank, crack, split or bad fitting fuel hose, dirt in the carb inner screen, air leaks through crank seals or gaskets, lose carbs, incorrectly set up carb screws.

No gas in carb husqvarna 141 chainsaw

Fuel gets to the carb via the fuel filter in the tank, the fuel hose up to the carb, and the impulse from the engine making the pump diaphram in the carb pulse and pump fuel, so start by replacing the fuel filter in the fuel tank, then check the fuel hose for signs of leaks, the impulse from the engine is fed through a pipe in the carb support block, you will need to remove the carb and block to inspect this, there is also a filter within the carb itself, this is sited under the pump housing of the carb ( alloy cover held with a single screw )

Petrol leaking when turned up side down,Ryobi Chainsaw

Upside down is not a usual sawing position--only upright, or turned to the left or right side is recommended. If you need to undercut something, keep the saw upright and cut with top side of the chain/bar.This can lead to kick-back if the tip comes free of the log/branch, so you need to control the saw carefully. That's also why there is a chain brake on all newer saws. The leaking may be occurring where the fuel lines pass through the wall of the fuel tank. Hope this helps!

Petrol leak exhaust

the unit is flooded...pull the spark plug and turn the unit over a few times to help dry it out.problem is that the crank case is also full of fuel.you can turn the unit upside down for a day to help the fuel out.install new spark plug, don't choke it,pull the trigger to full throttle pull the recoil ten times this will pull the fuel up to top of cylinder.remove spark plug pull a couple times and reinstall the spark plug.start the unit. if the unit floods again you have carb troubles.the needle is stuck open letting in too much fuel and it needs to be replaced.let me know if this helped.
