Hi there, most routers do have a cd with them but this is nothing more than a manual most of the time. If you just set up your router as the instructions tell you and link it to your pc/laptop using the lan/ethernet cable, then the easiest way to set it up is to open internet explorer which will no doubt say page cannot be displayed...just ignore that. Now in the address bar at the top just type the access address for your router... this will be in your manual and will look something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 you can even try one of the codes i just gave you. Anyway after that you will have a box or page appear requesting a user-name and password. the user-name should be - admin & the password maybe the same or the password could be - password. anyway if all that worked you should be on the router setup page where you can run the setup wizard or just enter your internet provider details eg. user-name and password given when you signed up for broadband. hope all this helps... I recently bought a D-Link WBR=2310 Rangebooster wireless router. The installation disk is only for Windows. I'm using a Macbook. Is there software for Apple? If not how do I set it up?

You can set up the router without the CD also.
If you connect the computer to the modem it works, right ?
Now you can connect the computer to the router and the modem to the rotuer . Access the router set up and set up the router.

I can't access manually my wbr-2310 (modem router dsl-500b)

you need to configure the wireless on the router through a cable connection at first. after logging in on the router (default admin login and password should be mentioned in the router's manual) you can enable the wireless and the DHCP. to access the router, open an internet browser window and surf to the address http://192.168.0.1, where you will be asked to fill in the admin password.
please keep us posted on any evolution

Wbr-2310 error 112

Check your physical connection first. From the modem, it should be connected to the router's Internet port, then your computer must be connected to port 1 on the back of the router. Then do a power cycle, no need to run the setup CD. If it doesn't work, you need to manually configure the router. You may need assistance from D-Link tech support. Call their toll free number
