Hi there, most routers do have a cd with them but this is nothing more than a manual most of the time. If you just set up your router as the instructions tell you and link it to your pc/laptop using the lan/ethernet cable, then the easiest way to set it up is to open internet explorer which will no doubt say page cannot be displayed...just ignore that. Now in the address bar at the top just type the access address for your router... this will be in your manual and will look something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 you can even try one of the codes i just gave you. Anyway after that you will have a box or page appear requesting a user-name and password. the user-name should be - admin & the password maybe the same or the password could be - password. anyway if all that worked you should be on the router setup page where you can run the setup wizard or just enter your internet provider details eg. user-name and password given when you signed up for broadband. hope all this helps...
