Maybe you are not using Kodak cartridges, however I know someone who has had the printhead replaced 6 times untill the problem was solved with a new printhead, I would phone Kodak and ask them to replace the whole printer in case it has a manufacturing fault, ! A brilliant printer when working but too many problems arise in use.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I find this an unusual problem but lets look at the logic. It worked ok before your replaced the colour cartridges. Your replaced only the colours and now it does not. Did you replace the cartridges with like for like? Are they compatables? Did you run the cleaning cycle? Run the cleaning cycle at least 3 times. If still no good buy 3 genuine canon cartridges and see what happens. If still no joy then must assume the printhead is the problem. A bit of a coincidence?
did you install the correct color wheel? Most of the samsungs had retooled bearings in some color wheels and often a jumper has to be installed for the color wheel to work properly. Your wheel should be a BP96-01103A another thing that can happen is the thin brown ribbon cable can get plugged in backwards and will prevent the color wheel from working also. That ribbon only has contacts on one side of the ribbon. I would double check that if the correct color wheel was received for your model.

Printheads are very sensitive and HP sets a "Time" limit of about two years for # 11 printheads regardless of how much you print. ( This is bunk from HP of course!.) But the prinheads do not expire!! They just show their health and that the printhead has exceeded the warraty period ( regardless of how much you print) .
Remove the printheads from their socket and fill a 8- 12" dish with 1/4" high of warm water. Set the printheads in the water in the same position they are set in the printer (vertical) You may need to place a wooden spoon of a block behind the printheads to keep the heads in position, as they will tilt backwards.
Leave the printheads to soak for about 15minutes.
Remove the printheads and slightly press them on a folded kitchen paper towel .It should show two lines of the same color of the printhead (cyan, yellow, etc) If the two lines are not of the same length (about 1/2" long) then repeat the soaking for that color. Be sure to dry the printheads properly
Install the printheads in the printer socket vertically so the contacts are properly set.. If not you may get a message to "Install (color) printhead". reset it again and run at least 15 pages with color information. It should print ok!!
If any print heads is damaged then the only option is to replace it with a new one.
It may be that the ink line from the cartridge to the printhead is clogged and ink is not flowing. This may require to run a large print job of about 50 or so pages to force ink into the clean printheads.
The terminal strip behind the printhead that makes contact with the pins in the printer are very delicate and if removed two to three times may not make a good contact and render the printhead unuseable.
Yes, this printer has fixed printheads and must have ink in each color to prevent damage to the printheads. Even when printing black only each color is spit in the servicing area to keep the printhead unclogged.

the colors transfer to the printhead by gravity. the felt on the inktank must make intimate contact with the stainless steel filter in the printhead. I have a pixma ip 6000D that I had to replace the printhead inside of two years three times. the bubblejet circuitry in the printhead got burned out. New heads cost from $55 to over a hundred.
