Question about Epson C64 InkJet Printer
Have you carried out 2 or 3 head cleaning cycles? If not, do it. Is there ink on paper after this cleaning? If so, but it is streaky, leave the printer for 24 hours and repeat. If not, you must soak the heads for at least 24 hours - use print head cleaning fluid or distilled water NOT TAP WATER. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves, pull the power cord out of the back, or switch it off at the mains. You should now be able to move the print head over to the left by hand out of the way. Now look in the "parking bay" at the right end where the print head parks itself. You will see a small oval rubber cup that covers the print head when it is parked. Use a syringe or dropper to fill the cup with cleaning fluid, then gently push the print head as far into the parking position as it will go. Then leave for at least 24 hours. Then try the cleaning cycles again. If no joy after this, report.
