Black lines are usually a sign that you have toner on the laser slip glass which is usually situated above the drum unit, its just a little bit of glass if u give this a wipe and get toner on ur finger or rag then thats probably what wrong. If you don't I would look at your drum unit as it might not be cleaning correctly, which would mean getting a new one.
Hope you find this info helpful. Cheers

Why does samsung sf 2800 page come out black when copying a document?

if it receives faxes fine then its
likely the ccd reader input is disconnected . broken lead.
the sensor is above the slot where you insert the to be scanned sheet.
you'll have to open the case cover to find out.

Samsung CLX-6220-FX vertical lines when scanning and copying

The reason for such lines if they appear only on scans/copies from the automatic document feeder (adf), but not on regular scans and printouts is that there is dirt on the small glass stripe next to the scanner area that is used for scanning from the adf. Just clean that glass stripe and the lines should go away.

Wide black line down page

open the document lid. Check to see if there is white-out on the glass platen where the document rides across the scanner. Some units require the white roll to be taken off.
sometimes a black mark on this platen can leave black streaks on copies made on this machine, and even when they send to others.
Try to clean the platen glass.

If you open up the feeder door (Where your originals feed into) you will see a slit of glass going from side to side by the feed rollers. (you might need a flashlight to see it better)
On the slit glass there is probably some white out or something on the glass. All you have to do is clean the glass and this should take care of your problem.
To help you zero in on where the marks might be located, make a copy of a white piece of paper through the fax machine.
And then line up the copy that comes out with your black marks to the feeder.
This should get you in the general location.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post another question.
If I have helped you, please post a feedback and a rating.
Have a good day.
Good luck.

Title misleading: not a printer at all

Wow you are correct there.
This looks to be a tricky use of words, it is called Multi-purpose not multifunction.
Thats extremely interesting but here is the marketing info.
Sorry you were mislead on that one.

Marketing Information The SF-560 laser facsimile is a multi-purpose office solution that combines the power of Samsung technology, with a combination of faxing, copying, and scanning. The stylish and compact SF-560 is easy to set up to immediately tackle your most demanding office needs.
