Re: No manual to figure out how to configure video...
It's March 30, 2009 and I just tried hooking this same tv up with the DVD player. No remote and was ready to throw the TV out the window. Another question on this same site helped me figured it out. There is no input button. You have to plug the DVD or video system in and then go to channel 91. That's the default channel for input 1. Strange but it worked.

I don't recall the exact incantation, but one of the menus will allow you to change the TV from Air channels to cable. You are currently in the antenna mode. Only channels up to 12 will be even close to the cable ones. On a set of that vintage, there may even be a slide switch on the front of the set.
if you can access the menu on your remote or the front of the set you can turn this function off. somewhere in the menu will be something called OSD( on screen display) and you can turn it off. sometimes the menu can be accessed by pushing the channel up and down buttons on the front of the set at the same time.
easy fix is to go buy a RF modulator and hook up your ps2 to your tv that way and then you dont have to mess around with trying to find the right remote you can get a rf modulator at wal-mart, best buy, radio shack and alot of other places they run aywhere from $15 to $30 and they work good
