Your main problem is that You Have to see the setup ON or THROUGH your tv\monitor screen. If you cannot see the SETUP program on the tv\monitor:: Try this:: Turn dvd-on, no dvd\cd in tray. Press SETUP,arrow down once, arrow right once, arrow down 5 times (that should take you to[restore] ENTER once Arrow up 5 times, arrow LEFT once press SETUP key to EXIT program

How do I display PC screen onto Sharp TV LC26SB24? I've lost TV user manual

Depending on your OS on most computers you need to either add a second monitor output or change the settings to tell the PC to redirect the video output to and external device instead of the PC's screen. Check your OS settings.

Assuming you connected it digitally you may have to open the manual on the unnamed DVD player and find out how it puts out DTS soundtracks.

I do everything from holding the power button till it bleeps i check all my hook ups and i waited a day to see if it was over heating but still when i try to hook up my ps3 with hdmi cords but it doesnt...

We do not have any recommendations for converters that will change the output connector type from an HDMI cable to another type of video connection (i.e., HDMI to DVI converters). We also cannot guarantee that these converters will work with the PlayStation 3 system. Additionally, the PlayStation 3 system is only able to use one video output port at a time. We do not have information in regards to connecting the PlayStation 3 system simultaneously to multiple displays. If you do not make a selection within 30 seconds, the PlayStation 3 will automatically go back to the previous display setting it was set to. At this point, you will need to manually change the Video Output Settings under the [Settings] > [Display Settings] > [Video Output Settings]. In addition, if the Video Output Settings do not match those required for the display in use, screen may go blank when the resolution is changed (i.e., you will not see the XMB menu). If you do not see a picture after 30 seconds, you should reset the Video Output Settings. For more information on these settings, read the HDMI troubleshooting article.

Hi,
To cancel Progressive scan output or to change output to interlace signal format, follow these steps..

1- Select DVD by pressing Function button on unit.
2- While holding down |<< (review) button, press Function button on unit.

This will change output signal to interlace/ composite video output from yellow pin/ S-Video.
Hope this info will help you.
Thanks.

Set up video output

Pal output will only work when it is plugged into a pal tv. The only way you can restore is to use the remote to put the settings back to ntsc without using the display. That should work. If you don't have a pal tv you should never change devices to run on it, because it can damage your tv set. The scanning lines are very different between the two systems.
