Check with Verizon, they have air cards that work internationally. I used mine in Haifa, Isreal.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I have bought nokia RM 969 model phone in india, I am now travelling to bankok and then to Australlia. Is it going to work there. I have activated international roaming for my sim card though.

It depends on what network you are on in India. Depending on what their roaming package is like it may be cheaper to simply buy a local SIM card when you go to Bangkok and Australia.

The phone itself;f supports GSM 800/1900 and will work on most 3G networks in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

My Genius Traveler 6000x wireless mouse suddenly stopped working

Double check the batteries, although the lights work and the computer sees it, the voltage could drop low enough to stop the sensors.

next, try another USB device in that plug. USB port can go bad.

If the port works, it could be the wireless USB connector starting to fail, if they are bumped to hard sideways it can cause loose connections internally.

then, you might just need to update drivers. Computer update s can conflict with drivers cause devices toss top working.

What wireless adaptor would you recommend for Acer Travel Mate 212TX

SETTING UP A BROADBAND CONNECTION
First you need to decide what type of broadband and Internet service you require and these are -
1. DSL that uses your existing telephone line.
2. Cable that uses a cable service and can include a cable TV service.
3. A USB wireless adapter uses the same 3G mobile/cell phone network and can be separately or combine with your cell phone account. This type of Internet connection uses a wireless device shaped like an USB memory stick.
Note - Combined services generally offer discount pricing and may include a modem/wireless router.

If you use a wireless router with a DSL or Cable Internet service then your laptop with a wireless card can then connect to the Internet. You can also connect to a free WiFi hot spots like McDonalds, Star Bucks, the Airport etc. using the wireless card in your laptop.
If you use the wireless 3G wireless broadband service, then you can access the Internet anywhere where your ISP has 3G wireless coverage. You need to check the service coverage area where you need Internet service.
Once you decide what type of broadband your require, then you need to check with the various Internet Service providers to see if they can offer and the cost of the various plans.
Note the download limits and the associated additional costs if you exceed the monthly download limits. Once you sign up with a Internet Service provider, their documentation will include setting up instructions and/or installation CD. http://www.fixya.com/support/r6165994-setting_up_broadband_connection

Most computers and components are manufactured in Asia, and being in the US would not present any problems.
The problem would be, the computer's wireless card is not configured to the wireless settings in the router.
To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access and configure your wireless card in your computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

What do i need to do to connect to the internet wireless with a dell inspirion 1000 24 hours

If your laptop does not have an internal wireless card you have options. You can get a usb adapter or get a car slot wireless adapter. Of course then you need a source for connection. You can pick up a high speed connection from verizon that works just about anywhere. Please give me a good rating. It means a lot to me. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

There is a couple of different ways to do this. 1- you can use the built in wireless in the computer at places that have free wifi ie... McDonald's, Wendy's, BurgerKing, Coffee shops, Malls, hotels, etc... most of these have free wifi. The plus side is it's free, the downside is you are restricted to finding a place with wifi. 2- you can go through your cell phone provider and purchase an air time PC card. With this card you can go on line anywhere anytime as long as you have a signal, same as your cell. I know that just about every hotel/motel out there has free wifi now, and my folks like to travel alot in their motor home, and they told me that they see more and more camp grounds with wifi.

Internet anywhere

Your best solution would be to purchase a data package from one of the top Wireless phone providers. They have modems that access their wireless networks, and enable you to transfer data at reasonably good speeds in most locations across the country. Regular Wi-Fi is not going to be available in as many locations as the wireless data network is, so if connectivity is crucial you'll want the wireless data network. Most of the wireless plans are between $59 and $99 per month depending on how much data you want to transfer.

good luck
