bet you are using the 64 bit version of win 7, if you are and your printer is quite old I don't hold out much hope for it because HPs attitude is that it is too old to be bothered with and its about time you purchased a new one. This I found hard to put up with as my equipment was working fine, but not with win 7. If you are using win 7 32 bit then you might have a chance by using vista drivers from HP and possibly if your very lucky you might find vista drivers for the 64bit version too. failing that all i can suggest is to look on the HP site for any universal drivers that might work for your printer. The scanner part could be a problem though, I solved mine with a program called "vuescan" which there is a good chance it will work for your scanner. i know its not the ideal solution but in my case it has allowed me to continue using a perfectly good scanner in windows 7 64bit. Your first port of call though is the HP website and if you cant find your driver just email or contact the support and ask if there is a universal driver that will work for the printer. Vuescan can be downloaded from http://www.hamrick.com/
and used as a trial version (it leaves a watermark on your scan result) so it wont cost you to try it out. I hope I have been some help to you.
