SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi i was wondering if my acer 5517-5671 has a built in webcam?

I have not been able to find anything online saying that it has a webcam, so I doubt it. If it had a webcam you should be able to see it above your screen as a small hole or window.

You can also go to this website:
http://www.testwebcam.com/

There will be a grey box with a question box asking you to allow flash to access your camera and microphone, allow this and it will turn on your camera and show you what it sees if you have one.

Thanks,
John Vickers

If you are using Skype and Intel, the problem is widely known and you need to update the Intel driver

Lifecam.exe has encountered a problem and has to close.

Check out the Microsoft support website for lifecam errors
http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=r&qid=348012&query=lifecam+problems&spid=global&catalog=LCID%3D2057&2057comm=1&res=20

Check if Microsoft has posted a solution on your computer ( if you have the necessary OS)
Start > Control Panel > Classic View > Problem reports and solutions

Also go into your Device Manager - expand the 'Imaging' file and see if you have a driver problem shown as a yellow triangle with an (!) inside
If so, right click on the text of your webcam and 'update driver software'
Use the internet option when prompted.

If all else fails - close all programs - disconnect webcam - uninstall webcam software - restart computer and download latest software from Microsoft Support download centre - which should incorporate all the patches.

Using Skype 4.1 everything works fine with one small problem. Picture of party I am speaking with has a vertical yellow line down the center of his/her picture. How do I get rid of that line?

check your internet speed and make sure it is pretty good.

check also the other party's cam, maybe some hair or other tiny object is blocking the camera lens.

Translucent yellow band down centre of recieved picture.

Normal 0 How much memory is installed in your computer? The camera uses quite a bit of your memory to operate properly and would cause the poor video. Could be other
Issues, but worth checking.
Hope this helps. Bud
