Question about Sony VAIO PCV-W1 PC Desktop
Yea looking at the casing, how the hell do you get to the hard drive, what screws do you undo??? cheers for your support
Quite simple really.
Turn the unit around so the screen is facing away from you, then, with the unit still upright, look at the bottom of the unit (not the base) and there should be two rubber protectors covering the screws of the panel. If you turn the unit to the left and to the right, still concentrating on the bottom, you will see screws (unprotected) on either side.
Remove all four screws and pop the back off (some force may be required but not too much since you may end up breaking the teeth that hold the case in place when you put it back on). The hard drive caddy is located at the bottom of the unit and is held in place by 4 screws.
