Have you tried completely powering down the system, removing the power cord from the wall socket? If not, please try that. Wait two minutes. Then plug it in and power up the system. If this does not clear the problem, contact Bose, to get the latest firmware disk. The firmware disk will reprogram your Lifestyle sound system. Then, everything should work properly.
According to Bose, the message that you have is due to dust in the system ....
They have offered 3 ways :-
Try cleaning the CD or DVD, as follows:
Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove stains or fingerprints from the disc surface
Wipe in straight movements from the center of the disc to the outside
Do not use any chemical cleaning products. They can damage the disc.
If the above will not fix the problem, you need to call them to repair the system.
I know its frustrating, However, we cannot play more with Bose as it might void the warranty if any.
