Question about HP iPAQ hw6515 Pocket PC
I inserted a new card as above and the IPAQ does not seem to see it.
Your 8 Gig card is a SDHC (HC=High Capacity) Card. All HC cards use a different format, which the 6515 can't use...
The biggest capacity the 6515 can use is 4 gig on the SD and 2 gig on the mini SD.
My 4g Transcend card and 2g Sandisk cards have been faultless for about 2 years now.
Sorry, but the 8 gig card is a wonderfull card, but is useless in a 6515

only some cards are noted as SDHD and some are just SD, newer large cards going SDHD and almost anything over and including 8 is usually SDHD. If you can find an old school SD card which is in the 4gig range it will work in this smartphone. I have used a 4 in mine without issue but I believe it is a limit with the phone that it will only support 4
