Don't try to do this yourself the DM board is not available Call Mitsubishi they will help with cost of repair 1 800 332-2119 the DM chassis needs to be sent infor repair.

Did you replace the caps in the dm board? or power supply? If you did not replace them on the DM board then do so. If you have, then it is time to replace the DM board. Part# 934C067001

Ws55711 is the model # for this mits. If I wanted to get a new DM board does anyone know where to get it these days.


your only hope would be find a used one on ebay all boards for that model have been discontinued and no longer available new.

Replace the Capacitors on the DM board. You can get the WS55859 DM repair kit which covers your model from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the caps and the CD with repair instructions

Very common problem caused by the DM capacitors having failed. You can get the DM repair kit for your model from www.tvrepairworld.com which contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions

The DM board is the one with the digital connectors on the back panel. If you already have it appart, you may as well check the caps on all of the boards. The caps that go bad are typically Jamicon brand caps in 1000 uF and 330 uF values. There are also a couple of 3300 uF caps in the PS that cause problems.

Changing caps on DM board is good prevent maintenance,

 but does not represent the solution...DM caps symptom is

 Continuos blinking light.
