Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My printer keeps saying to remove and check cartridge. My cartridge is new. I was told to reset it. Nothing has changed. Someone please help!
Mine says the same. What shall I do?

Your problem is very comon, believe it or not. The problem is not with you, your software or the new cartridges. The problem as I have experienced it in the past is the printer. If you open your printer up and remove the cartridge, you will see where thecartridge is installed in the carriage unit, a white tape with a number of contact points on it. You will also see a flat sping that that holds the cartridge in place. What I have found in the past is that the spring will put a very small hole in the contact tape and damage it to the point where is will not recognise the cartridge. You will need a torch and a magnifying gass to find it usually.
The long and the short of it is that the unit is damaged and there is nothing that can be done as HP do not provide replacement parts for their inkjet range of printers. This tiny hole basically renders the unit as throw away. Rediculouse as it migh sound, it is the unfortunate truth.
