My e310 cannot format my sd card (by 4 users)

Help! I want to have some mp3s on a sd card to play on my toshiba e310. But, I get an "error 31" trying to format the card. So, I then tried to format it using a memory card reader. Not sure what to do, I formatted in fat32. Any Suggestions?

I have the same problem.

I had the same "error 31" problem when trying to format a 2 GB SD card. I then tried a 1 GB SD card and it worked fine. I wonder if the device only supports up to 1 GB cards?? I checked the user guide and it does not say one way or the other.
